The Graduate University for Advanced Studies (総合研究大学院大学 Sōgō kenkyū daigakuin daigaku ) is one of the national universities of Japan. It is located in the town of Hayama in Kanagawa Prefecture. It was established in 1988. Its nickname is Sōkendai (総研大 ). From 1988 to 1995 the university's headquarter was located in Nagatsuta, Midori-ku, Yokohama.
